The tri-generation plant will provide power, heating, and cooling for the facility. The 500 kW system design includes the installation of two 250 kW natural gas driven reciprocating generators with a total of 2.6 million btu’s of heat recovery on a 6th-floor setback roof. The heat from the generators is being used to supplement domestic hot water production and space heating.
Powergen provides 24/7/365 support, operations, and maintenance for the property and power plant.
