• Emergency Standby Generator providing back up power for The Hudson Research Center at 619 West 54th Street known as the Movielab building.

 

• Medical Facility Tenants Include The New York Stem Cell Foundation, The Rogosin Institute, The Manhattan Surgery Center and Westside GI.

 

• The plant provides power in emergency conditions for this 325,000-square-foot, 10-story building located on Manhattan’s West Side Highway.

 

• Project construction cost approx. $1.6 MM.

Our engineering team at MG Engineering designed a full turnkey 1 MEG emergency generator in an external lot for Taconic Investment Partners, with a complete set of drawings for DOB approval and construction, which Powergen completed in 2017.

 

Powergen was contracted to build the plant and was the General Contractor and Project Prime.

 

Our engineering and finance teams are also currently exploring attractive revenue options due to the substantial energy cost savings through on-site power generation under NYISO/NYPA Demand Response programs.
